A man wanted in questioning for five deaths in Lincoln County, TN and Huntsville, AL was found dead on a rural road just south of the Tennessee state line.
WSMV reports that Warren Vincent Crutcher, 24, who was wanted by Lincoln County authorities for questioning was found dead near Hazel Green, Alabama. The Madison County, Alabama corner, Craig Whisenant, said it is an apparent homicide.
On Monday, The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation responded to a home in Fayetteville, Tennessee and found Chabreya Campbell, 22, and her 18-month-old son, Rico Ragland, dead. It was also believed that Campbell was six months pregnant. Campbell and her 3-year-old son lived at the home with Vincent Crutcher, who was unharmed. Also, Amber McCaulley, 21, was deceased at the residence.
All of the victims were taken to the Medical Examiner’s office to determine the cause of death.
According to neighbors, Crutcher began calling random people from his mother’s cell phone on Monday at about 6 a.m. When Crystal Kelly, the children’s godmother, received the call she went to the house and discovered the bodies and immediately called authorities.
Jessica Brown, 21, was also found dead in her home on Monday. Her 2-month-old son was found unharmed.
The TBI believes the two of the children were Crunchers but not Rico, according to NBC News.
On Tuesday morning in Huntsville, Alabama Jeffery Pope was found dead with a gunshot wound to the chest. According to Crutcher’s mother Pope and Crutcher were friends.
